Manjira River
Godavari River has one of its major tributary named Manjira River,which is one of the a huge waterway in Andhra Pradesh. One of the biggest Dam “Nizam Sagar” was built over the Manjira River between Achampet and Banjapalle villages in the Nizamabad region in Andhra Pradesh. The most remarkable characteristic of the undertaking is the immense stonework dam sprawling over the waterway for a far-reaching length of 3 kilometers with a motorable street of 14 feet broadness. This river starts from Balaghat mountains and the height is 823 meters approx 2700 ft and vacant in the Godavari River.
The wildlife sanctuary of Majira is very famous from all over sanctuaries and it is located in Sangareddy that is near Manjira River and the Sangareddy is the district headquarters of Medak that is located in Andhra Pradesh. Settled between Manjira and Singoor flood, the haven spreads a territory of 20 Sq km. It is 50 Km from Hyderabad and is decently associated with street. The sanctuary takes over the course of waterway Manjira over a length of 36 km. This Wildlife sanctuary has been shaped by nine modest islands like Bapangadda, Puttigadda, Karnamgadda as well as Sangamadda. Various creatures are available here such as reptiles of different categories like Marsh Crocodiles as well as Muggers.
