Nubra River
River nubra is sure an an epitome of natural beauty. There are numbers of small water streams from Himalayan glaciers which come and end in River nubra only. Course
The river originates from siachen glaciers in the north-west direction and terong glacier located eastwards. Nubra River is tributary of Shylok River which flows via nubra valley in northwards of ladakh. The river has high-barren Mountains on both sides of the valley.
Tributaries
Zaska, hunza and shylok join Nubra River at the Kashmir region. On certain special occasions, the neighborhood of this lake tends to get doubled as it acts as a site for certain festivals too. The Nubra Lake can be visited throughout year except in few months where the temperature falls below the tolerable limits.
How to Reach (Air, Rail and Road)
Air
In order to reach Jammu one can opt for air route. There are number of flights that directly land up to bilspur.
Rail
One can reach river nubra via bilaspur-manali-leh railway station which is the nearest route to reach the place.
Road
One can hire taxis and other public transportations in order to reach the location of nubra River. The passengers who visit the river love to transverse it by comfortably seating themselves in petty suspended cradles.
