Godavari River has one of its major tributary named Manjira River,which is one of the a huge waterway in Andhra Pradesh. One of the biggest Dam “Nizam Sagar” was built over the Manjira River between Achampet and Banjapalle villages in the Nizamabad region in Andhra Pradesh. The most remarkable characteristic of the undertaking is the immense stonework dam sprawling over the waterway for a far-reaching length of 3 kilometers with a motorable street of 14 feet broadness. This river starts from Balaghat mountains and the height is 823 meters approx 2700 ft and vacant in the Godavari River.
The wildlife sanctuary of Majira is very famous from all over sanctuaries and it is located in Sangareddy that is near Manjira River and the Sangareddy is the district headquarters of Medak that is located in Andhra Pradesh.
