Bhainsai River
There are innumerable rivers in Uttar Pradesh and among them you can talk about the aqua contribution of River Bhainsai. However, Bhainsai is not a very big river but you can never deny the indispensable role of this significant water body. This one is considered as one of the rivers with pride in Uttar Pradesh. In trying to know from where the river starts, you can trace the origin of the river at a place known as Muhammadabad Gohna Mau. Bhainsai perfectly passes through an area known as Zahoorabad. Bhainsai finally makes its way to the Tamsa River at a place called Bahadurganj located in Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.
Even you have a Bhainsai Village named after this river and you would find this village in the district of Balrampur. As the river bed is extremely fertile. The local people have willingly taken to agriculture. This is an extremely remote village where people don’t have access to basic necessities like toilets and electricity. And the sole village market locally referred to as the bazaar is held one in a week on Fridays. The closest railway station to reach is situated in Mankapur which lies at a distance of 40 kilometres from the village of Bhainsai.
Course
Bhainsai is a small but significant river in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The river has its rise at a place called Muhammadabad Gohna Mau. Some of the places through which the River Bhainsai passes through include Zahoorabad, Goura Chowki, Dhuswa, Andhyari Bazar, Khirya, Bhainsai, Thirukha Bujurg, Kunjalpur, Bhabhnan, Maroucha, Jigna, Kurasan, Pera and Baksara. Moving through these places one can imagine the length and course of the river. Don’t go by the size of River Bhainsai. It is a petite river no doubt but has wonderful impact on the life of the common people living in the adjacent lands. However, after moving through all the above mentioned places the river finally opens itself in the Tamsa River.
Tributaries
River Bhainsai is not known to have any tributaries. It is small and neatly completes its course without meandering unnecessarily here and there.
