Mandovi Bridge

The Mandovi Bridge is located on River Mandovi and there are two bridges on this river. The increasing traffic on the old bridge lead to the construction of the new one which is a two way bridge and has reduced the traffic problems to a great extent. The bridge connects two important places Porvorim and Panjim thus serves as a medium of transportation of the people. The construction of the new bridge has definitely brought a lot of relief and solved numerous problems.

Geography

The Mandovi River is considered to be the primary river located in Goa. The bridge is also known as the Panaji Bridge and constructed in the early 1980’s. The main purpose of constructing the bridge was to help the people to reach Panjim or the Betim Village in just 15 minutes.

The Mandovi Bridge is a beautiful bridge and after its maintenance, it has definitely brought a huge difference. It has not only reduced the travelling time but also the people are able to enjoy better transport facilities. Therefore, the new Mandovi bridge has definitely reduced the problems and transformed the lives of the people.
