Bhavani is 2nd grade metropolis in Erode in Tamil Nadu. It is an island situated in Erode City . Its about eighty five km away from a city named, Coimbatore. It is located at the rivers flowing together namely Kaveri, which is the largest river & the 2nd largest river Bhavani, with the unseen spiritualist & Sarasvati River. Thus the place is also called the Sangam of Triveni of South. The Sangameswarar temple which is loyal to Lord Shiva,made at the convergence of these rivers, is one of the sanctified site for Hindus. It is seen on the north where these rivers meet up. The 5 hill temples in this area; for instance Tiruchengode , Sankagiri, Mangalagiri , Padmagiri, & Vedagiri surrounds the Temple. At the same time, it is also called the Carpet City because of the top business of the carpet industry.It is around 14 km far away from its very near Railway Station, Erode Junction. And about 10 km away from its Central Bus Terminus. Stanley Reservoir which is locally known as Mettur Dam, is 41 km far away from here. The nearby airports are located at Salem which is about 56 km in distance and another is at Coimbatore  about 90 km in distance.
