Few words about Schools in India:

Education is one of the important phases in every individual’s life. It determines everything a student does once they grow up in life. In Swami Vivekananda’s words, “education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man”. This quotation gives out the significance of education not only in today’s world, but during every era and every generation.

Schools as we know are one of the starting points for education among children. Schools in India are not uniform in the sense of one syllabus system. There are education systems such as Central Board of Secondary Education, Indian Certificate for Secondary Education and various other state syllabuses. Out of which CBSE is found extensively through schools in India. The next majority of schools are found imparting education in state syllabuses. The next type of Indian schools include ICSE syllabus.

CBSE schools in India are well recognized for the standard in education that they impart to children. CBSE syllabus is uniform throughout India and will not change according to the states or places. CBSE schools include Kendriya Vidyalaya, a chain of Central Government run schools across India. Army Schools, which provide education services to the children of the personnel of the armed forces. Army schools are found in cities or towns where there are cantonment boards or navy or air force bases. These are also one of the best schools providing CBSE syllabus education.

Indian schools with ICSE syllabus is also uniform across India. But, there is a difference in the standards when compared to CBSE and ICSE. CBSE and ICSE syllabus, education and exam pattern are different. CBSE is thought to be more scientific in approach that ICSE. ICSE is considered as more elaborate.

Other types of Indian schools can also be seen. These are boarding schools. These boarding schools in India provide boarding and lodging or hostel facilities to children. There are separate schools for boys as well as girls. Boarding schools in India are very famous for the standard that they maintain and the students are also known to be well disciplined.
