Jasrana is a nagar panchayat as well as a town situated in the district of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh. This town is linked with National Highway two which is connected and this town is only eighty kilometers away from the ancient city named as Agra which have one of the seven ancient wonders of the world known as Taj Mahal. According to the census of 2001 Jasrana has total population of 9279 in which males are figured out as 53% and females are 47%. The literacy rate of Jasrana is approximately 47% and 16% population of Jasrana is under the age of six years. Jasrana is also famous for many ancient temples such as Sri Vankhandeshwar Mandir, Hanumaan Jee Ka Mandir, Mann Kamakhya Dhaam, Narsingh Bhagwan Ka Mandir, Punch Kuti Mandir etc.

Geography of Jasrana shows that it is situated on 27.25 degree North and 78.68 degree East and 554 feet above sea level however, the climate of Jasrana is very good and the main occupation of this area is agriculture. There are many colleges and schools which are spread all over the town such as Saraswati Gyan Mandir, New Light Public School etc. but among these PVIIT Computer Education is famous as it is registered with the Government of India. There is a very famous place in Jasrana known as Village Bhaypur which is the residential location of many VVIPs of this place. This town is equipped with all types of facilities such as community centers, hospitals, veterinary hospitals etc.
