Degana tehsil is one of the ten tehsils of Nagour district. This tehsil is one of the major revenue generating division of Nagour. Major source of income of the residents of this place is agriculture and leather carving. Typical Nagouri Jutis and raw leather Chappals are famous manufacturing of this tehsil. Majority of the population is involved in agriculture. Means of irrigation are better here. A good network of canals, minors and tube wells is spread in the area of Degana. Though commerce of different articles is done here but still, user needy goods of acute routine usage are preferably sold. No large-scale industry is planted here.
