Mandalgarh is a tehsil, which is situated in the district Bhilwara of State Rajasthan. The altitude of this area is 382 meters which is 1253 in feet. This tehsil is situated at the distance of fifty-four kilometres towards Southeast of the district Bhilwara. This place has great importance as it has seen many battles in mediaeval times according to Muslim historians. However, there is no tube well and canals in this area. This place also contains a very old temple named as Jaleshwar, which was constructed in 1619. This place was completely in the control of Mahmud Khilji in 15th century. In 1650, this place was in the control of Raja Roop Singh, which was granted to him by Emperor Shah Jahan. The place is well-equipped with all kinds of basic amenities such as roads, railway station, bus station, cinema halls, hospitals and schools. There are many nationalised banks, which function in this area in order to fulfil the financial demands of the people of this area.
