Sinnar is a tehsil in state of Maharashtra of Nashik district. This tehsil is situated at an elevation of 651 metres. It is also considered as one of the major industrial zone of its district. Moreover it is located at a distance of 30kms far from the southeast of Nashik city on the Pune Nashik Highway. Sinnar is even a fastest growing town in district. This tehsil has dense population with sex proportion of males higher than females. From the total populace about 15 percent consists of children below six years of age. Even literacy rate is above the national average literacy rate. Most of the residents are educated but males literacy rate is more than female literacy rate. Therefore both tehsil and government must be aware of this inappropriate ratio and must develop more educational institutes of various streams especially for women. It must also encourage its people about the importance of education so that they must take admission and make them enough capable. In addition this tehsil inhabits few medical hospitals, banks, hotels and restaurants with certain essential stores so that its arrivals and people may not face any obscurity and get everything easily at their own town.
