The tehsil of Keshkal is in the state of Chhattisgarh. The capital city Raipur is also close by. Just a few kilometres away, people can reach there by the railways and the road services. The main form of occupation for the people of this town is agriculture. They harvest crops to earn a living for themselves. The farming brings in a meagre income for them hence they have to indulge in small jobs to support their families. The village has all the basic amenities. People still need to visit the capital city to get better health care facilities. Despite the different health schemes being offered by the government there is no improvement. There is lack of proper food and as a result the women are mal nourished. Most of the population of this state comes from the rural areas. People here need to be made aware of the importance of education as well. Since the literacy rate in this tehsil is not very high. Schools need to be built so that the children here are provided with basic primary education. The government is coming up with schemes and plans so that the farmers can learn about new technologies and help to produce better crop. This will help them earn a better income. The population is not very high here.
