Puraula is a tehsil in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand located at an elevation of 1,524 meters. This tehsil is around 112 kilometers far from the district and close to Har-ki-dun trek. In addition to this, Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and mountain ranges covers up Puraula from two sides. Some of the great attractions of Puraula includes Mautad tourist village, Har-ki-dun and Sankari.
