Nagaland is the farthest lying state in the northeast in India. This state Was born After the Independence in the year 1963 on December 1.This state is divided into seven districts namely Kohima, Phek, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunheloto, Twensang and Mon. The state is graced by the mountains. The capital of this state is Kohima. The chief occupation of the people there is agriculture. The major crops that are mostly grown there are rice, corn, millets, pulses, tobacco, oilseeds, sugarcane, potatoes and fibers. Forestry is also prominent feature of the state. Besides, cottage industries, Insurance Companies, Real Estate and tourism Industry are also very popular there.
