Dausa, a small city in state of Rajasthan, India is under the assistance ship of Administrative headquarters of Dausa District. The city is commonly regarded as the DevNagari and was initially ruled by the kings of Bargujars. The place comes under the shadow of Dhundhar region and is also the birth place of the famous poets SantSunderdas. The city is also well known or its native festival called as the BasantPanchmiMela and DolchiHoli. The BasantPanchmiMela is celebrated in the lieu of worshiping the lord Surya and is celebrated for three days which serve the localites with the basic need for a year. Dolchiholi another festival that is been celebrated by the Gurjar Caste on the occasion of Holi when the young men face the splashes of water from the leather bags with full courage and determination. This is a fun filled event. There are a number of stepwells in the city and the place is also known as a tourist spot and receives a number of tourist from all over the world every year.
