A small tehsil located in the beautiful state of Chhattisgarh. The capital of the state is Raipur. Which are a few kilometres away from the tehsil. The tehsil has been on a road to progress and quite a few developments have been seen in the past few years. The main form of livelihood of the people of this tehsil comes from agriculture. People take up small petty jobs to sustain a living for themselves. The literacy rate of the tehsil is not very high. The males in this tehsil are far more educated than the women here. The government needs to make the people aware of the importance that education holds in todays time in this village. The village has all the basic amenities. People still need to visit the capital city to get better health care facilities. There are quite a number of schools in the area nearby. For recreation purposes there are parks and cinema halls as well. The people here are inclined towards a lot of religions which is prevalent by the number of temples that one finds in the village. The tehsil needs a lot of improvement over all so that it can come at power with the neighbouring states.
