With its foundation as Patiala State Bank on November 17, 1917, today’s State Bank of Patiala is part of the State Bank of India Group as one of its associate banks in the country. The then Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of the princely state of Patiala had established this bank in the Patiala state of the Undivided India.
