Damanjodi is a small tehsil in the state of Orissa. It is a hilly area with less population. The majority of the population in this tehsil comes from government organizations like Nalco. One can find people of all religions and traditions, as the town is filled with employees from all parts of the country. It is a valley situated amidst the hills of Panchpatmai. The township of Damanjodi has two schools Delhi Public School and Saraswati Mandir. Both these schools provide primary education to the children residing in the tehsil. The town is well connected by bus and rail services that are run by the government as well as private agencies.
