Erandol is a tehsil in state of Maharashtra of Jalgaon district. This tehsil is located on banks of Anjani River and at an elevation of 226metres. It is also located in Tapi valley of the Deccan plateau between Satpura and Ajanta Hills. Moreover this tehsil has dense population with sex proportion of males higher than females. From the total mass approximately 13 percent is of children below six years of age. Even literacy rate in tehsil is above the national average literacy rate. Most of the citizens are educated and employed. Erandol has several schools and colleges of various streams but still requires in advancing them more so that they can impart excellent education to its students.
