Basna is a tehsil in the large state of Chhattisgarh. The tehsil has a small population of a few thousands. It is well connected to the nearby towns and the main capital city of Raipur through roads and railways. The main form of livelihood of the people of this tehsil is agriculture and farming. The literacy rate of the tehsil is not very high. The males in this tehsil are far more educated than the women here. The government needs to make the people aware of the importance that education holds in todays time in this village. The village has all the basic amenities.
