Dhamdha is a tehsil in the state of Chhattisgarh. The main form of earning a living for the people of this state is through agriculture and farming. Rice is one of the most important crops that are planted in the entire state. It is one the largest producers and exporters of rice throughout the entire country of India. The people grow rice and other crops. They harvest it and sell it to earn money. They indulge in small jobs as well to earn money. The poverty is very high in this tehsil. The employment scene needs to be improved. The people of the tehsil are majorly Hindus with Muslims being a small number. For recreation purposes there are parks and cinema halls as well. The tehsil needs a lot of improvement over all so that it can come at power with the neighbouring states. It needs to come up with hospitals so that the people do not have to rush to the capital city for basic treatment. People here need to be made aware of the importance of education as well. Since the literacy rate in this tehsil is not very high. Schools need to be built so that the children here are provided with basic primary education.
