In the state of Chhattisgarh lies the small tehsil district of Dantewada. The tehsil is a few km away from the capital city of Raipur. The distance between the two places is about a 168 km. The main form of transport here is rail and the road. Though the roads are not in optimum conditions they are connected to the small villages and town in the state. The literacy rate here is average and the male and female ratio is roughly equal. The tehsil is not very large and has a small population. The main language spoken here is Hindi and Telegu as well.
