Dewas is an ancient tehsil located in Malwa Plateau of Dewas district in the West Central part of Indian State of Madhya Pradesh. It is also an administrative centre of district and formerly seat of two states of British Raj. Dewas is the site of government bank note press and an industrial region, situated about 160kms far from the state capital. Moreover it is lies to southeast of Ujjain and northwest of Indore.
