| Multai is a tehsil in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The tehsil has more number of females than males. Approximately it is 28 km away from the main city. Numerous small villages joined into the tehsil. The literacy rate in the city is average where males are more educated than women. Several education centres have opened up in the city initialising children to take interest and gain knowledge. Although the tehsil people are hard working but still many of them are unemployed.
