In the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh a tehsil is situated known as Betul. The official language spoken up in the city is Hindi. The city has a humid and dry summer and a very cold winter. The city has average literate rate with population of males more than females. The people of tehsil support education, many private and government institutes are found nearby the city. This tehsil is located 58 km far from the main city of district and about 105 km from the main city of state. Numbers of small villages are in the nearby tehsils. The main form of transportation is through rail and roads. Although the tehsil has got few banks and hotels so that tourists will not face the problem of money exchange and accommodation. The city has got no recreational spots. The government should make a move ahead and promote social and entertainment sites. Furthermore the city has more unemployed people than working residents. Literacy rate is higher in the males in comparison to the females. It needs to be improved to develop the tehsil. Education in females can bring about a positive change in the society.
