Manuguru is a small town and comes under the census list as well. It is situated at Khammam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. Manuguru, also known as Manugur, is an urban area, to be found at the banks of Godavari River and comes under the constituency of Pinapaka Assembly and Mahboobabad Parliament.

According to the census of india, 2001, Manuguru holds a population of 32,539 among which 51% of population is constituted by males and rest 49% is constituted by females. Manuguru is well educated town having a literacy rate of 62%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5% itself. As per the available data, literacy rate for male and female is 72% and 52% respectively, whereas, another 11% of population is under six years of age group.

Manuguru is famous for its profitable practicing of coal mines situated at Yellandu village of Khammam district. The production capacity of this coal mine is very large and profitable in nature in comparison of other mines of the state or the other neighborhood of Singareni.
