Good Friday

Good Friday is a consecrated holiday distinct mainly by the Christian society on recollection of the crucifixion and tribulation of Jesus Christ and his end at Calvary. The holiday is observed on the Friday of the sacred week of Easter Tridiuum prior to Easter Sunday. Good Friday is also termed as Holy Friday, Black Friday or Easter Friday by the Christian community. Based on the information of official Gospel the crucifixion of Jesus was on a Friday the day just before Sabath which is also known as a day of devotion. The assessed year of crucifixion by 2 different groups is AD-33, formerly as assessed by Isaac Newton it is AD 34 thru biblical calendar.

History

According to the official details of Gospel the temple which was escorted by the followers of Jesus known as Judas Isacriot arrested Jesus in the garden situated on the foot in Jerusalem in Mountains of Olives also known as Garden of Gethsemene.  Judas was paid 30 silver coins for deceiving and betraying Jesus, Judas directed the guards they need to also arrest the ones who Jesus kisses. Later Jesus was carried to the home of Annas who was also an official priest for consecutive ten years after his arrest. After interrogation they couldn’t extract much information from Jesus. He was later sent to Caiaphas who ideally had set up to arrest Jesus along to Sanhedrin which is an assembly of 23 men’s appointed in each country in the land of Israel.

Conflicting of the evidence against Jesus was brought out by many observers to which Jesus responded nothing. Lastly High Priest commanded Jesus to reply under the sincere oath to which Jesus replied for which High Priest destined Jesus in the act of Insult also known as Blasphemy and the assembly of 23 men Sanhedrin agreed upon to sentence to death for Jesus.

Next day morning Jesus was brought in front of the Roman Ruler Pointius Pilate under the accusation of undermining the nation, not paying the tax to Caesar, proclaiming him as a king. Pointius Pilate gave authority to Jewish to judge as per the law of Romans to which Jewish leader responded that they were not permissible to carry out the death sentence by Romans. Pointius Pilate after knowing Jesus originated from Galilee send him to the king of Galilee but King Harod sends him back to Pointius for not finding Jesus mortified. After getting to know that Jesus claimed to be a son of god with likelihood of fear he request Jesus to know more about him after which Pointius Pilates declares Jesus innocent in front of the crowd and washed his hands in the water to display that he has no involvement in Jesus conviction.

Pointius later gave Jesus to be punished and crucified; Jesus carried his cross to the place of execution he was crucified at the place of Golgotha which is also known as the place of skull. Jesus suffered for 6 hours. For last three hours darkness was surrounded over the entire land, earthquake, later the crypt broke opened, the curtain of the temple was broke apart and Jesus let go his spirit which a loud cry.

Later Joseph, Member of Sanhedrin visited Pointius to request for the body of Jesus, Another associate of Sanhedrin fetched 100 of spices mixture to cover Jesus body along with several other herb aloes and Myrrh. They placed Jesus in the linen body keeping the Jewish traditions in mind. They trundled a large rock near the tomb of Jesus.

After a week Mary visited the tomb and sees that the Jesus is not there and as mentioned by Jesus he is raised. On the third day he was raised from death which is known as Easter.
