Kulpahar is a city in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh in India. It is considered to be one of the historical towns of India and is in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh. Kulpahar is the largest subdivision of Uttar Pradesh and it known for the towns closeness to the ancient places if Khajuraho and historic places of importance namely Mahoba, Kalinjar, Charkhari, Orchha and Jhansi.

There are a number of sites which are of tourists interest in Kulpahar. The Senapati Mahal is one of places worth visiting. It is a beautiful small palace which was built by Raja Jagatraj of Jaitpur way back in the early eighteenth century. It was a triple storied building which is situated at a site in Kulpahar. Senapati fortess is a small fortification around Senapati Place and was built in the mid eighteenth century. Raja ka Tal lake is another very important site to be visited by the tourists who visit the place. It was an artificial lake which was built in the eighteenth century and it covers an area of over 2 square kilometres.
