Zamania is municipal board and a city in the district of Ghazipur and is in the north part of India in the Uttar Pradesh state and it is situated on the river Ganges bank and this place is said to be divided into two zones which are main named the Zamanian Railway station and the Zamanian tehsil. This place is not very much developed and the railway station Zamania is situated on the railways main routed between the place Patna and Delhi and it is said to be one among the important towns in Ghazipur, as this has got separated from the city of Ghazipur due to the Ganges river, this place is not so very nicely connected to the district headquarter or the city but is only poorly connected with a bridge with the Ghazipur and the bridge is named as Abdul Hamid setu, efforts have been made and a new bridge is said to be under construction.

The population of this place as of the 2010 census of India is 25,831 and the males percentage is 58% and the females are 42% and the literacy rate is averaging to only 53%
