Bochaha is a state assembly constituency in the district of Muzzafarpur in the state of Bihar in the country of India. There are a number of gram panchayats which are within this state assembly. Some of these gram panchayats are Adi Gopalpur, Balthi Rasulpur, Bhootane, deogan, Karanpur North, Karanpur South, Lohsari, Maidapur, Majhauli, Sahila Rampur, Sarfuddinpur, Unsar, and Vishnupur, Jagdish of Bochaha CD Block, Gram Panchayats Abdul Nagarurf Madhopur, Baikatpur, Barajagannath, bhikanpur, Chhapra Megh, Dumri, Jamalabad, Jhapahan, Kanhauli, Vishnupur, Khabra, Manikan Harikesh, Manika Vishnupur Chand, Mushahri, Alias Radha Nagar, Narauli, Prahladpur, Rajwara Bhagwan, Rohua, Sahbazpur, Shekhpur, Sherpur, Susta and Taraura Gopalpur of Mushahri CD Block.

The region has fair civic facilities with fairly good streets and other city infrastructure. There are sometimes problems of power cut but most of the time there is a continuous supply of power in the industries as well as in the domestic areas. There is no shortage of drinking water and the underground water is available in plenty. The education facilities are fairly good with the presence of numerous Government as well as Public schools. There are also colleges for pursuing graduation and post graduation studies in various disciplines in various parts of the region.
