Barahiya is a small city and also a municipality in the Lakhisarai district in the state of Bihar situated in the eastern part of India. The city has a fairly high population of 39,745. It is located in the bank of the River Ganges and the soil in the region is very fertile. The municipality area is known to grown immense amount of Rabi crops.
