Nashik is a tehsil in state of Maharashtra of Nashik district. This tehsil is bounded by Dhule district to north, Ahmadnagar district south and Jalgaon district to east. At western side of the tehsil Western Ghats stretches from north to south. Marathi is the official language whereas many other languages are also widely spoken in the tehsil. Moreover it inhabits various religious and ancient places. Numerous pilgrims mostly visit at time of Kumbh mela at Nashik.
