Mahagaon is the tehsil of Yavatmal district situated in Maharashtra state in India. This village is located on the bank of River PUS. This is among sixteen tehsil of Yavatmal district.Narwade family is the largest family of this village and the place is dominating by the members of this family. The tehsil is situated at 194731 in the north side and 77463 in the east side. This tehsil is situated near by the national highway number 7 and it is well connected from the main cities. People of all religion lives in this place but the ratio of Hindus is more than other religion. People use to speak Andh or Indo Aryan language in day to day life. The inhabitants of this place are educated but due to the shortage of job openings they had to survive through agriculture only. Jowar and cotton are the main products of this place. The main exports of city are cotton and teakwood. Lime, wooden furniture and oranges are other things which exports from here. This is small and calm place but contains all the needed facilities like hospitals, schools, banks, ATM machines, colleges, market etc. Few historical places like old temples; old buildings etc are situated in this city.
