In south western region of the state of Madhya Pradesh of Dhar district a tehsil is situated known as Kukshi. It is also a part of Nirmar region in state with approximately 360kms far from Bhopal and 170 kms from Indore. It lies at the south of Vindhyas and west of Narmada River Valley.
