Pardi tehsil is very close to the city Valsad and has a railway station located on Vadodra and Mumbai track of Indian railways. Pardi is an industrial area which comes under GIDC and has given boost to lot of small scale and cottage industries. The GIDC has given financial and technical support to the chemical industry which is one of the most prosperous industries of this region. But this is not enough the steps taken by GIDC is not sufficient to withstand the ever increasing global competition which poses use threat to the domestic industries which are still at infant stage. To avoid this initially certain restrictions are needed from the Governments side so that these industries get some time to come to the level of competition. Not only this, steps should be taken to strengthen the small scale enterprises as they are of great economic value.

The infrastructure is good with roads linking all the important places. The literacy level among its male and female is once again very high which proved that the locals have immense potential. This place is considered as the birthplace of Shirdi Sai Baba which makes it very holy and pious place as the devotees of Sai Baba keep on visiting the place throughout the year.
