Jasdan is simply a town that comes under the Rajkot district of Gujarat. Apart from being a town it is also a village and a municipality. Before India became an independent country, this village was called as a Princely state and it were the Hindus who ruled the entire town. Jasdan is a village which is having good and healthy population and most of the people who reside in the city are literate. Apart from this fact that they are literate, they are not able to find development process in the c\village because of which they are tending to migrate to some other place. Geographically, the village is located near to the hills because of which the temperature remains to an average level. The language that people use to speak in this village is Hindi and Gujarati. Few people may speak English. The village of Jasdan is not having any industry because of which people are engage in farming and earning their livelihood.

There is no school and college is located inside the Jasdan village because of which people are sending their children to far places to get studies. This village is not also proper connected and this is the reason that they are not able to relocate them to other areas.
