Shahada is a tehsil in state of Maharashtra of Nandurbar district. It is situated in northwest corner of its state. This tehsil is known for religious village Dakshin Kashi and also for educational facilities. Shahada is the second important excavation site of its state. It has few deposits of copper, bronze and hammers stones. This tehsil also inhabits several centuries old sculptures in Gomai River in which Mahavir is the main sculpture.
