Khilchipur is small tehsil of Rajgarh district in Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and this city also has Nagar Panchayat in district Rajgarh. The tehsil was founded in the year 1544 by Dewan Ugra Sen, who was a khichi Rajput. The city Khilchipur is located at 24.03 in the north side and 76.57 in the east side. The average elevation of city is 394 meters. In 2001, the population of Khilchipur was 15, 321. This tehsil has stable population with sex proportion of males higher than females. The literacy rate in this tehsil is about 61% which is higher than national average. 16% of total population is under 6 years of age. The main priority of inhabitants of this place is to provide the excellent quality of education by which they can able to get jobs easily. They have keen interest in education and for this they develop numbers of schools and colleges. The people hardly managed to live here and most of them are unemployed. Government should know the conditions of tehsil and they should take proper decision and provide jobs for these peoples. There are few temples in Khilchipur and a Palace too. Though its a very small city still a good place for tourist.
