Keshod is one of the small tehsil which is the sub division magrol district of the Taluka of Junagadh which is the part of the state of Gujarat. The name Keshod has been given to this tehsil after one of the incident at the time of Mahabharata. The meaning of Keshod is Kesha which means hair and udd means wash in Sanskrit.The population of Kehod constitutes more number of Hindus in comparison to the people from other castes.
