Choolgiri Jaipur
Choolgiri Jain temple is located in Jaipur. The worldwide famous temple is situated in the Aravalli hills at Jaipur-Agra highway. The scenery is amazing and one can have the religious tour of all the holy places in Jaipur and enjoy the stimulating mountains while visiting the temple via Jaipur.
History
The temple was built by Jain Acharya Shri Desh Bhoosanji in 1953. The place is named after him and is Desh Bhoosannagar. The temple consists of statues of many Jain gods. In 1966, a white stone of Bhagwan Parshvanath was put which is approximately 7 feet high. Other statues include Bhagwan Neminath and Bhagwan Mahaveer swami which are 3.5 feet high. A festival called Panch Kalyanak was organized in the temple where 21 feet high statue of Mahaveer Swami was the major attraction for the visitors.
