All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) which is also known as All-India-Anna-Dravidian-Progress-Federation is political party of state in Tamil Nadu. It is now ruling party and in Pondicherry too in India. This party is Dravidian founded by Mr. MG Ramachandran renowned as MGR in year 1972 as breakaway group of Dravida-Munnetra-Kazhagam or DMK). Since the year 1989, the AIADMK is lead by Smt. J Jayalalithaa, present Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister. The headquarters of party is in the Royapettah in Chennai, as well as was presented to party in year 1986 by its former leader Mr. Janaki Ramachandran who was spouse of MGR. History

M. G. Ramachandran
