Taj Ul Masjid
The very descent and spontaneous pilgrim for Muslims is located in Bhopa, Madhya Pradesh. The name of this mosque is Taj-ul-Masjid. This masjid is having its own importance in itself. There is a school also runs in this mosque in the day time where students use to come and take education. It is having a meaning as Crown of Mosques. This reputation is given to this mosque because this mosque is the largest mosque across the Asia. It is having a vast area and its dome is like a Dome of Allah. The colour through which the mosque is painted is also looking ecstatic. It is having pink colour across it and the domes are painted with white. This provides a better picture to all those eyes which are looking at it. It was started in construction by the Sultan of Bhopal, Shah Jahan and his Begum. They felt short of constructing it completely as they were not having sufficient funds for that.
It was reconstructed by the Imran Khan Azhaari. He was also from Bhopal and taken an initiation of Allama for this purpose. It is having madarsa which was constructed later on and lost o students who are not having sufficient amount of funds for studying come here to take education.
History
The construction begins in the year of 1844 by the Nawab Shah Jahan Begum. He was the ruler of Bhopal at that time. The construction was completed to some more extent by her daughter Sultan Jahan Begum. It was stopped as she was died and after that, lack of funds came in the way of construction. After a long time, the construction was started in the year 1971. It was started by Allama Mohammad Imran Khan. He was also from Bhopal and the construction was completed in the year 1985 with lots of efforts of him. After the construction, the main entrance was grandly opened on which the gate was renovated under the Syrian traditional mosques and the contribution did by Emir of Kuwait. He did so to commemorate memories of his wife who was passed away.
The mosque was very similar to the other popular mosques of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore and Jama Masjid in Delhi. It was started constructing by the Sultan of Bhopal but it was effort fully completed in the year 1971 by the M. Imran Khan. The Taj-ul-Masjid is depicting the art of Mughal culture and the way through which the Mughal buildings were constructed, in same way, this mosque was also constructed. It is having good pillars and domes which provide good picture to this mosque from far places. The three pillars are round shaped that provide ecstatic look to it. Most of the people are coming to watch the beauty of this mosque. There are 27 ceilings in it. The marble floorings and marble pillars leave a long lasting impression on the pilgrims coming to this place. There are various those things like crystal slabs are imported from outside India so that the mosque’s interior looks graceful. These slabs are from England and their cost is seven lakh rupees.
Architecture
The mosque is having a pink coloured two storey building which looks perfect from far away coming to it. It is also having three domes. They are associated with main hall and pillars which are attractive. Apart from all these things, a person may find marble flooring that leaves a good impression on the mind of a person. The Mughal architecture is so beautifully used in the mosque that it is looking like the other mosques with same architecture. These are Jama Masjid in Delhi and Badshahi Mosque in Lahore. It is having one courtyard and also has a tank which is placed in the centre.
The Taj-ul-Masjid is having a prayer hall from where people use to offer prayer during the old times. There is a double storeyed gateway which is the thing that is making attraction more soothing. The ceilings are large in numbers and they are also having good design with petals that forms an artistic image in front of pilgrims.
Dhai Seedi Ki Masjid
The other mosque which is located near to the Taj-ul-masjid is Dhai Seedhi Ki Masjid. It is also known as The Mosque of two and a half steps. It is located in the campus of Gandhi Medical College. It is also known as the watch towers for the main mosque. The important point about this mosque is that it is the oldest mosque of Bhopal. It was developed as the Fatehgarh Fort was constructed by Dost Mohammad Khan was going on and those labours who were working in that fort along with the guards may offer their Namaaaz in this mosque.
Major Attractions Of The Shrine
The major attraction for the people is the size of the mosque. The pink colour of the mosque use to provide good attraction to the people and they may start their view through this place itself. Apart from this, there are other mosques which are associated to it and they may watch them too. It is also having Buland Darwaza like entrance gate. The large prayer hall, marble tiles for flooring and painted ceilings invite all those people to come and have a view of it at least once. The most favourable time to visit the mosque is between October to March. At this time, large numbers of pilgrims use to come and temperature also remains good.

By Air
There is an airport located in the city of Bhopal and the name of it is Raja Bhoj Airport. It is located at a distance of 15 kilometres from the city area. The airport is also connected to all the domestic airports like of Delhi, Mumbai, Gwalior and also connected to international cities like Sharjah, Dubai, and other Gulf countries.
By Rail
Bhopal is the city in Madhya Pradesh which is connected properly to all the rail links of the country. Large numbers of trains from all parts are having a stop at this station. It is located on the Delhi Mumbai rail route.
By Road

Special Event or Festivals Celebrated In Taj-ul-Masajid
There are various festivals that are celebrated over this place. These festivals are the only reason that makes people come to this place in large number. One of the most celebrated festivals is Aalmi tablighi Ijtima. It is the annual three days congregation. However, now it is celebrated at ghazi Pura due to lack of space.
