Uttar Pradesh Sai Baba Mandir
Sitakund town is basically famous for its sacred Sai Baba Mandir or temple. The main motto of establishing this temple is to spread spiritual teachings and discourses of Sai Baba of Shirdi. As everyone knows that Sai Baba was the great mystic and saint of his time. There are various Sai temples in the country. The Sai Baba Mandir or temple at Sitakund is also famous for its special ritual which perfoswsrmed annually.
History
The sacred Sai Baba Mandir or temple was constructed by a local religious trust called Sai Seva Samiti. The trust received the huge donations from the followers of Sai Baba. The temple was constructed around 50 years ago. The temple is not only famous for its Puja or rituals but also for its architecture. The temple is divided into two main sections. First one is its interior section that has centre hall. Second section is the exterior section that has a field for rituals purposes. The idol of Sai Baba has been installed in the centre hall. Moreover, on the temple's walls, visitors or pilgrims can see the various inscriptions related to teachings of Sai Baba.
Weather and time to visit
During the summer Sitakund town becomes hot and humid while in winter it becomes cold. Monsoon starts in the month of July and end usually in the month of September.

By Air
Varanasi airport is the nearest airport situated only 48 km distance from Sitakund town. Hence, visitors or pilgrims can easily get direct flights to Varanasi from various domestic airports in the country.
By Rail
Some of the nearest railway stations are Mirzapur railway station only 2 km, Jhingura railway station 8 km and Vidhyachal railway station also 8 km.
By Road
Regular buses, cars and taxis connect the city to other parts of the country. So, from airport or railway station, visitors or pilgrims can easily hire road-based transportation.
