Odisha Byamokesvara Temple
It is located in the capital state of Orissa in the old town of Bhubaneswar in the Tala bazaar market complex. The temple faces towards the west direction and is a living temple with its beautiful history crafted with an enshrined idol of the Siva lingam with a spherical vonipitha in the middle of the sanctum. River Ganga is found on the right side of the doorframe and the river Yamuna on the left. It is a recently founded temple that was buried in the time and is maintained by the local shopkeepers. The building fabric used for the building of the temple is coarse grey sandstone.

Byamokesvara temple is a religious temple unfolding the splendor and proficiency of the ancient period artisans. It was built back in the 10th century A.D. The construction procedure is dry masonry and the art of styling is Kalingan. The river goddesses are made in the front upper part of the doorjamb which is a complete different concept among the general temples that are found in Bhubaneswar.

It is situated on the front side of the Lingaraja temple across the left side road on the eastern gateway at an approx distance of 10meters. It is in Tala bazaar market complex.
