Maharashtra Nrusimha Saraswati Mandir
The prominent Nrusimha-Saraswati Mandir or also called Nrusimha Saraswati swami Maharasj Mandir or temple is devoted to its main deity called Shri Nrusimha Saraswati Gurumaharaj. Remember, Gurumaharaj is believed to be the second incarnation of Lord Dattatreyaji. Hence, the sacred temple is considered as the most holy place among the followers of Gurumaharaj.
History
The renowned saint Sri Nrusimha Saraswati Gurumaharajji was born in the town Karanja. Later he travelled throughout the country to spread his teachings and discourses. According to flowers of GuruMaharajji, he was the second sacred incarnation of God Dattatreya. He was famous for his miracles works. Hence, Karanja town is considered as his heavenly abode. However, there is no proper history or evidence available regarding the origin and construction of the temple but it is believed the temple was constructed by the followers of Gurumaharaj. The sacred temple is believed to be constructed 100 years ago by the followers of saint. The main motto behind the construction of this sacred worship place is to spread spiritual knowledge and discourses of Gurumaharaj.
Weather and time to visit
Maharashtra state is famous for its tropical climate condition hence it is advisable to visit here from the month of March to October. However, you can visit the temple throughout the year as per your requirement.
