Gujarat Shree Harsiddhi Mataji
A Hindu goddess that is another form of Goddess Amba or Kalika is the Goddess Harsidhhi. The other names that are given to Goddess Harsidhhi are Harshal, Harshad, Sikotar, Harshat Shikotar or Vahanvati. There is also a temple dedicated to Goddess Harsidhhi in Sindh located in Pakistan and there the Goddess is named as Sindhoi Mata or the Goddess of Sands.
The Kshatriya and the Rajputs visit this Goddess in form of their Kuldevi. The other communities who worship the Goddess Harsiddhi in various other forms are Chandranas, Brahmakshatriyas, the Jains, Brahminsand the Vaishyas. The Goddess is also worshipped by the fishermen in Gujarat.
History
The temple is known as Harshal Mata Temple and was built at a distance of 30 km from Porbandar in a place called Miani. The ancient temple is located on the cliff of the hill that faces the sea but later when Lord Krishna visited this place the idol is placed on the hill top and is called Koyla Dungar. Lord Krishna wanted to win over the Asuras so he asked help of Maa Amba and later after defeating the asuras he built a temple as he was very happy hence the temple is named as “Harsiddhi Mata”.
Weather and Time to Visit
The temple can be visited throughout the year but the devotees visit the temple especially during the time of Navaratris and on the festival of Diwali.

There are various budgeted hotels and dharamshalas in the vicinity of the city. They provide a comfortable stay for the devotees during their visit to the temple.
