Gujarat Ambaji
Ambaji is a major Hindu temple in India. It is one of the major Shakti Peeths in India. Ambaji Temple is situated in the town of Ambaji in the Banaskantha district of Gujarat in India. It is situated very close to the Gujarat border with Rajasthan. This temple is visited by millions of tourists and devotees every year, as it has an important place in the Hindu religion.
In the holy temple of Arasuri Ambaji, there is no image or statue of the goddess. The Shree Visa Yantra is worshipped as the main deity but nobody can see the Yantra with the naked eye and photography is prohibited.
The famous mountain of Gabbar Hill is situated about 5 km from the temple and is said to be the original seat of Ambaji Mata.
History
Ambaji is counted among the ancient Shakti Peetha of India. In this temple there is no picture or idol of the Ambaji deity, but a Gold plated Shakti Visa Shree Yantra which can be visible through a hole in a cave which can be worshipped by the devotees. It has never been photographed in the past and it is not allowed to photograph even today. Today it is worshiped with bandage on the eyes. This Visa Shree Yantra is connected to the other original Yantras of Nepal and Ujjain Shakti Peeths. This holy place is the center of cosmic power of India where a piece of heart of Devi Sati fell on top of this Gabbar hill where Mata Ambaji temple is worshipped today.

The closest International Airport is Ahmedabad International Airport from which one can use road transport to reach Ambaji Temple.

Mount Abu railway station and Abu road railway station are close to Ambaji. Tourists and devotees can take the trains from these stations and then use road transport to reach Sarangpur.
