Andhra Pradesh Sanghi Temple
Sanghi Temple is one of the finest temples constructed in Andhra Pradesh state. Location of this temple is Sanghi Nagar, near Hyderabad. Distance from state capital to this temple is 35 kilometers. One of the specialty of this temple is the tall Gopuram which looks from far end of the Sanghi Nagar. The temple is located on a hillock named Parmanand Giri hill. A lot of devotees arrive here to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman. On the hillock, there are three different shrines of various idols. Inside the temple different Hindu Gods and Goddesses are placed. On the top of the Gopuram, Lord Anjaneeya is seated and considered to showering his blessing from there. Lord Venkteshwara is the presiding deity of this temple.
History
The temple was constructed in 1991. Though there was an ancient temple of 18th century of Lord Anjaneeya Swami with Lord Rama but ruined in due course of time. Latest construction of the temple was completed with white marble as well as stones. In 1977, a trust was formed to be responsible to construct this temple. Work started in 1978 and a concerted effort made by more than 250 artisans and architects, the construction was completed in 1990. Latest Raja Gopuram was being constructed simultaneously but the traditional pattern and height of the same took considerable time.
Architecture
Construction of this temple was done according to traditional conventional pattern of South Indian temples. Tall Gopuram has five stories with a huge entrance gate sufficient high to allow the elephant passing. From the entrance gate there is a pathway till a wide verandah or corridor of the main temple. This verandah has the roof like a prone boat. Having a 3.5ft high platform above the normal ground level, this temple has three different shrines. Garbhagrihas are well decorated with carving inside as well as moldings on exteriors. Exterior of the temple has a resemblance with Rajputana construction style. 6 stairs are required to be step up to enter in the mandir premises. Pillars of the verandah are well carved as their base is square shaped and above half of their total height, stone discs have been provided and this process continues till the end of each pillar. Inside the temple a 9ft tall idol of Lord Venkteshwara is placed. Inside the complex, various small temples dedicated to lord Rama, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Durga and Lord Kartikeya are constructed.
A holy place inside the temple complex is where Puja flowers are grown. Mahabhishekam is performed on each day. Days for all the deities are predetermined and on the day, a large number of devotees gather here.

This place is accessible through three ways of transportation.
By Air
Hyderabad International Airport is the nearest airport located at 37 kilometers from the temple. Road conveyances right from Airport are easily available.
By Rail
Secunderabad is the nearest Railway station. Though Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twins but from Secunderabad, Sanghi Nagar falls on 23 kilometers.
By Road
From Hyderabad, APSRTC buses ply frequently between Sanghi Nagar and city. Private taxies, auto rickshaws are also available on affordable charges to access this temple.
