Maharashtra
Maharashtra is basically a state of festivals including songs, dance, and music. If one can talk about the music of the Maharashtra, then saint poetry, folk songs, and Natya Sangeet were also remembered. Gwalior is the base of the start of the classical music of Maharashtra and literature of Marathas were shown in the music of the Maharashtra. Folk Music

Natya Sangeet
In Maharasthra, the main form of music is Natya Sangeet. This sangeet is the form of stage music. This form of music is represented as a semiclassical form but basically it is a classical form. This music is in companion with the classical and old musical style with different changes of rhythms. Having sync with vocals, the composition was rivets by the instrumentation music in background. The master of Natya Sangeet is Narayanrao Rajhauns, who is also commonly called as Bal Gandharava. He is only person who developed the classical music in the root of Natya Sangeet. For his contribution to the field of music, the musical theater of Maharashtra also obliged this maestro.
