The Peace Party of India is regarded as the fifth largest party of Uttar Pradesh state lying in India, following the legislative elections held in the year of 2012. This party could win four seats in the elections held.
Mohammad Ayub, a philanthropist and surgeon laid the foundation of the party in the year of 2008. He is a well-known surgeon. He always cares for the weaker sections of the society and spares no pains in saving them from exploitation. In fact, he is boon to all sections of the people.
This party represents those people, who work very hard for the progress of backward people of India by means of creating participation and awareness in governance. The foundation of this party was laid with the perception of presenting a fresh alternative to the people belonging to all classes, particularly dalits, oppressed/backward and Muslims, who have been the victims of exploitation by the political parties to gain power. Earlier, this party had influence in some part of UP state and but now this party is spreading its tentacles in the remaining parts of India.
Strategy of the Party
The policy of the Peace Party of India is to unite other groups and parties, like National Hit Party, Janvadi Party, Bhartiya Samaj Party, Lok Janshakti Party and Indian Justice Party into one forum. This party has organized backward communities as well as Muslims and has played a pivotal role in gaining 70% vote of the Muslims. This party has broad and open minded view with reference to its policies and thus has enchanted multiple people from different sections of society. This party is also spreading its influence to other parts of India like Delhi, Uttrakhand, Jharkhand and Bihar. It is certain that within few days, this party will be able to form its firm grip over these parts of India as well. Gradually, it is gaining its prevalence.
Development of the Party
The Peace Party of India contested many seats in 2009 General Election of India. In fact, it contested 21 seats out of 80 seats in UP state. It stood at the sixth rank in the percentage of votes which 124 regional and national parties.
In the by-elections of 2010, which were held at Lakhimpur and Dumariyaganj, it received votes greater than the Indian National Congress and Samajwadi Party.
The Peace Party of India fought nearly 208 assembly seats in 2012 assembly elections of UP state, where this party could muster 2.35% of the vote and stood at fifth rank by percentage of votes polled. Only four candidates were declared victorious. Their names are as follows:

- Dr. Mohd. Ayub – Khalilabad
- Aneesurrehman - Kanth
The Peace Party of India is yet to known as State party or National party and this is likely to be made possible soon after 2012 elections. This party has made an alliance with Bundelkhand Congress as well as Apna Dal.

Mohammed Ayub
Dr. Mohamed Ayub is a well-known politician of India and also the president of the Peace Party of India.
Dr. Mohammad Ayub took his birth in Gorakhpur. In 1985, he studied master of surgery from Banaras Hindu University. Later, he became a thriving businessman in the medical field. His vast knowledge of medical science has immensely contributed to the society. He took keen interest in the serving the mankind with his selfless attitude and sacrificing nature.
Dr Ayub fought his election from assembly seat of Basti lying in UP state, in the year of 2012. He also won assembly seat of Khalilabad by 5392 in the year of 2012 by defeating his opponent Mashoor Alam, who belongs to Bahujan Samaj Party. After good performance of this party, Dr. Ayub has gained immense popularity among the mass of the state. He has become a source emulation and imitation to other leaders. His never-ending endeavors have enchanted all the section of the people.
